
A southern California dance teacher has been arrested after police say he sexually assaulted college students at his dance studio.
Mark Chavarria, the 40-year-old proprietor of the Chavarria Institute of the Arts dance studio in Anaheim, California, was arrested Tuesday on sexual assault fees, in accordance with a press launch from the Anaheim Police Division.

Chavarria, who’s from Riverside, California, is alleged to have sexually assaulted a number of women between the ages of 12 and 14.
Chavarria was booked on the Anaheim Police Division Detention Facility and is being held on $5 million bail.

Authorities imagine that Chavarria, who taught at a number of dance studios in each California and Arizona, has victimized further people.

The dance studio’s web site says it gives courses in dance, music and performing arts for all ages, toddler by way of grownup, in types that embrace ballet, modern, hip-hop, jazz, jazz funk, lyrical, musical theater, faucet, approach, tumbling, glee/voice and instrumental music.
“We’re not only a studio, we’re a household!” the web site says.
