A 12-year-old boy from Georgia handed away on Thursday after being caught in a rip tide final week.
12-year-old Rashad Williams was visiting Johnson Seaside in Pensacola, Florida, on April 6 together with his good friend Braylon Jones, 14, for spring break.
Braylon’s mom Addie Jones chaperoned the journey and advised FOX 5 Atlanta that the wave “flushed” the boys into the water.
“My son mentioned the way in which it got here, it was like a wave, it was one thing like water, simply got here pouring like a wave,” Jones defined. “It stood up and got here down on them, and it type of like flushed them down within the water.”

“I am simply speechless. I simply could not consider all of that was unfolding proper earlier than me like that,” the mom added.
Each boys have been rushed to the hospital. Braylon survived, however Rashad handed away after preventing for his life on a ventilator for practically per week.
