She added, “It feels, basically, like Mount Sinai is saying that this neighborhood doesn’t matter. Like we as Elmhurst residents don’t matter, as largely immigrant, union docs.”

The docs, organized below the Committee of Interns and Residents native of the Service Workers Worldwide Union, are claiming to be the primary of their line of labor to strike in New York Metropolis since 1990.
